Ms McKeon asked everyone in St Patrick's NS to make a special effort to use the spoken language and engage in fun activities that promote all things Irish. This year the junior classes not only learned the dance 'Jerusalema' through Irish and they also participated in an art competition through the medium of Irish. Whilst the senior classes may not have been in school for all of Seachtain a Gaeilge, they too had an opportunity to participate in lots fun activities, including table quizzes, songs, games. There was also a poetry/ essay writing competition with lots of cool prizes up for grabs! So here's hoping that everyone enjoyed the craic we had during Seachtain/Coicís na Gaeilge 2021! The children from Junior Infants to Second Class learned the Jerusalema dance and those in 3rd to 6th class learned the Dreoilín dance.
Every looked fantastic dressed up in green and we were so happy that we could go outside and dance with all the other children. We took lots of pictures and videos from the day.

Go raibh maith agat Iníon Nic Eoin (Thanks to Ms McKeon) and all the staff for getting the children ready for the day. Also, thanks to all the families that practiced and participated in the day.
